March Wrap-Up! 2016

Hello everyone,

In this post I’m going to tell you which books I read in March. It has been a weird month and I had a lot of stress because of my college work. Lets just say it was very hard for me to finish all these books and I’m very glad I made it through.

Here’s the list of all the books,

“Sunshine Hunter” by Maddie Cochere

15745400

Working in a weight-loss center by day and a racquetball club by night, Susan Hunter enjoys her life, the sport, and her friends. … Sunshine Hunter opens with Susan finding out her new boyfriend of three months is married. To escape the drama, she accepts an offer from her best friend to tag along for a week in Florida. Here the mystery begins, and Susan believes she and her friend are being stalked. She also learns of a murder back home in Ohio and soon finds out she’s wanted for questioning. The story takes an adventurous turn when she ends up in the Gulf of Mexico. … Humorous, sometimes ominous, Sunshine Hunter is quirky and fun!

“Forever (The Abandoned #1)” by Eric Marier

Rich, popular Kate Hewitt destroys lives at Sussex High.

Mute, violent Kev Anderwaith hasn’t been to school in months.

On the day Kev does return, Kate is shocked when the overgrown, social outcast sits next to her in class and claims they’ve both lived previous lives, and keep finding each other, throughout the centuries, falling in love every time.

“Confessions of an Ugly Girl (Ugly Girl Series #1)” by Alice Wasser

25751747

Millie Glockenfeld will never fall in love.

She will never get engaged. She will never get married. She will never live in a house with a white picket fence and 2.4 children. And all for one very simple reason:

She is ugly.

Fortunately, one thing Millie has learned over the years is that she doesn’t need a man. She’s got a good job, a loyal best friend, and a crazy but lovable cat lady who lives downstairs from her. What more does a girl need in life?

But then one day Millie meets Sam Webber. He is adorably handsome and absolutely perfect (well, almost). And Sam thinks that Millie is beautiful.

Now there’s a chance that Millie might get the happy ending she’s always secretly wanted… if only she can learn to look in the mirror and see what Sam sees.

“Bitter Ashes: Acts One, Two, and Three (Bitter Ashes Book 1)” by Sara C. Roethle

29423554

Madeline knew her life was strange, and not just because she could sense the emotions of others. Having people die by your hand on two separate occasions can make a girl question her very existence. Still, she never thought she’d wake up in a world straight out of Norse myth. A world where corpses reanimate all on their own . . . and she’s supposed to be their executioner.

A normal person would run screaming into the night, but there’s something about dark and alluring Alaric that’s giving Madeline pause, and it’s not the fact that he turns a little feline from time to time.

“Passenger” by Alexandra Bracken

20983362.jpg

In one devastating night, violin prodigy Etta Spencer loses everything she knows and loves. Thrust into an unfamiliar world by a stranger with a dangerous agenda, Etta is certain of only one thing: she has traveled not just miles but years from home. And she’s inherited a legacy she knows nothing about from a family whose existence she’s never heard of. Until now.

Nicholas Carter is content with his life at sea, free from the Ironwoods—a powerful family in the colonies—and the servitude he’s known at their hands. But with the arrival of an unusual passenger on his ship comes the insistent pull of the past that he can’t escape and the family that won’t let him go so easily. Now the Ironwoods are searching for a stolen object of untold value, one they believe only Etta, Nicholas’ passenger, can find. In order to protect her, he must ensure she brings it back to them—whether she wants to or not.

Together, Etta and Nicholas embark on a perilous journey across centuries and continents, piecing together clues left behind by the traveler who will do anything to keep the object out of the Ironwoods’ grasp. But as they get closer to the truth of their search, and the deadly game the Ironwoods are playing, treacherous forces threaten to separate Etta not only from Nicholas but from her path home… forever.

There will be reviews for each one of these books soon 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll talk to you in my next post.
