Synopsis by GoodReads:

Four friends. Twenty-two bridesmaids’ dresses.
One random act of kindness that will change their lives forever.

Tess has given up looking for Mr. Right, but that doesn’t mean she’s given up on love. When she reads a newspaper article about a young couple who’ve had everything stolen from their home, including four bridesmaids dresses, she knows she has to help.

But by helping the bride, Tess risks exposing a past she doesn’t want anyone to know about. She does everything she can to minimize the danger she’s in, but she does the one thing guaranteed to destroy everything – she falls in love with the wrong man.

Logan Allen has spent most of his career reporting on the news from around the world. When a letter arrives from Afghanistan, the trauma he’s been living with is about to explode back into his life. He betrayed a small Afghan village and Tess thinks he’s betrayed her.

From their first random act of kindness comes an experience Logan and Tess will never forget. And maybe, if they work together, they can create a future that’s better than anything they’ve left behind.

Good Stuff:

“All of Me” is about 4 friends, well actually the Bridesmaids Club series is about 4 friends but All of Me mainly focuses on Tess and the other books in the series continue with other girls as the main character.

Tess owns a Cafe in town. She loves having a normal life (she used to be a Model). Something happened in her life which made her run away from everything she had (which I’m not going to tell you guys as it will ruin the book for you) and She hates reporters.

Logan Allen is a reporter who has written a lot of big stories and was always ready for any challenge, until something bad happened while he was in Afghanistan. Whatever happened there really affected him, so he came to a small town called Bozeman and started his life as a reporter for Bozeman Chronicles, where he reports small incidents around town. Logan eats at Tess’ cafe everyday but he never seems to figure out why Tess hates him.

Tess reads a newspaper article about a young couple who’ve had everything stolen from their home, including four bridesmaids dresses and they don’t have money to buy new ones, Tess decides to help them. To get all the details about the couple, Tess has to contact the reporter who wrote that story and that reporter turns out to be Logan Allen.

This is a very interesting story and will keep you hooked up till the end.

Bad Stuff:

There are 2 things that I did not like in the book –

  1. When Tess feels like her past is going to crush her present now that everyone knows everything, nothing happens. I was expecting it to be more dramatic. The person who destroyed Tess’ life, did not even appear once in the whole book. I thought there were going to be confrontations or blackmailing or threats.
  2. I loved the way Tess and Logan’s relationship developed but once they got together, that was it. We did not get to see their relation after they got together, which was very unsatisfying. I was really rooting for them and wanted to read more about them but it really disappointed me when the book ended like that.

Overall Impression:

Despite some issues, it is still worth a read. It’s a very fun, light and enjoyable read.
